Murphy plays Damien in this 2006 war drama. Damien O’Donovan, a young Irish doctor in the 1920s, is about to embark on a new career in London when the film begins. As he bids his farewell at a friend’s ranch, British Black and Tans come, and a young man is slain. Damien joins the Irish Republican Army with his brother Teddy, but the boys are soon driven apart by political events.
