Cillian Murphy is 45 years old! With his ever-popular role as Thomas “Tommy” Shelby in the series Peaky Blinders, the Irish actor has taken over the world. Murphy was the lead vocalist, lyricist, and guitarist for the band The Sons of Mr Green Genes, for those who are unaware. The visionary actor quit a record agreement with the band to follow his passion for acting, which has paid off handsomely for him as he has established himself as a highly respected actor with a long and brilliant career. Murphy plays Damien in this 2006 war drama. Damien O’Donovan, a young Irish doctor in the 1920s, is about to embark on a new career in London when the film begins. As he bids his farewell at a friend’s ranch, British Black and Tans come, and a young man is slain. Damien joins the Irish Republican Army with his brother Teddy, but the boys are soon driven apart by political events.
