Australian cricket star Andrew Symonds killed in car crash

Former Australian all-rounder Andrew Symonds has died in a car crash.

The 46-year-old former star cricketer’s car crashed in Townsville, Australia, where Andrew Symonds’ car overturned off the road.

According to Australian media, Andrew Symonds’ family also confirmed the incident, thanked the sympathizers, and asked for respect for privacy.

Former Pakistan cricket team fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar, while expressing his condolences on the death of Andrew Symonds, said that he was shocked to hear of the death of Symonds in the accident.

Symonds, a two-time Australian World Champion, played 198 ODIs, 26 Tests, and 14 Twenty20 Internationals.

 Andrew Symonds is the second most famous Australian player to die this year after Shane Warren.
