MUZAFFARABAD: A Delhi court is to pronounce verdict for Kashmiri leader Yasin Malik today (Wednesday) who has long being imprisoned in a jail over fake cases against him.

As per details, Occupied Kashmir valley is to observe complete strike today in solidarity with the Kashmiri leader.

Not only this, shrouded protests and marches towards the United Nation (UN) office in Azad Kashmir are also planned for the day to demonstrate against the fake cases and the possible cruel decision of the Indian court.

A convoy of the Kashmiri demonstrators would also hold a sit-in on the Line of Control (LoC) today.

Yasin Malik is likely to face a maximum punishment of death penalty and the minimum would be sentence for life imprisonment.

On the other hand, Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari while condemning the conviction of the Hurriyat leader, demanded his immediate acquittal.

Bilawal Bhutto maintained that Malik is the most prominent and respected voice among the Hurriyat leaders in the fight of Indian Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJ&K).

“The fabricated charges against him must be dropped. He must be released forthwith and allowed to reunite with his family,” he added.

On the other hand, Mushaal Hussein Mullick tried to divert the attention of the international community towards the case of Yasin Malik and invoked the world towards the violation of human rights in the IIOJ&K.

She was of the view that the international community should pay heed towards the violence by brutal Indian authorities.

She also informed that Yasin Malik has been braving severe health conditions and he has been constantly tortured by the Indian authorities and his family is not allowed to meet him.
