New Delhi: An Indian wrestler slapped the referee in a packed house for ruling in favour of the opponent, on which the wrestling federation has banned the wrestler for life.

The Wrestling Federation of India has banned wrestler Satinder Singh for life and lodged a complaint at the police station for slapping the referee in the crowd.

Wrestling Federation of India official Vinod Tomar confirmed that the air conditioning was not working due to which the temperature had reached 41 degrees Celsius, which was also affecting the wrestlers.

He said that wrestler and giant Kali Raman also vented his anger on the walls of the wrestling hall and made holes in the walls.
