New Delhi: An Indian wrestler slapped the referee in a packed house for ruling in favour of the opponent, on which the wrestling federation has banned the wrestler for life.

According to foreign media, the incident of slapping the referee took place during the 125 kg category trials for the Commonwealth Games to be held in Birmingham during which the referee ruled in favour of the opponent of the wrestler Stander Malik.
