May is Mental Health Awareness Month, which means we are now in the month. Dr. Jonathon Wade, a Behavioral science professor at Danville Area Community College’s Liberal Arts Department, will present a “Coffee, Cake, and Conversation” event on Mental Health Awareness on Thursday, May 12th at 10 a.m.

in the DACC Bremer Conference Center. According to Dr. Wade, the focus will be on two things: overcoming mental illness stigma and learning to talk about it.
