Within a week after a leaked draft judgment indicating the Supreme Court’s intention to overturn Roe v. Wade, vandals targeted at least five pro-life crisis pregnancy centers (CPCs) around the country. The draft judgment, which Politico reported on May 2, has provoked a surge of pro-choice rallies around the country, including outside the Supreme Court, the justices’ private residences, Catholic churches, and pro-life organizations.
“In some ways, it wasn’t a surprise since I had called Denton PD a week earlier requesting for increased patrols because we knew this was coming,” Loreto House Executive Director Randy Bollig said FOX 4.
“We’re here to love and support her. We’re not there to put you down, “He was speaking about the vandal. “We’re not there to lecture her. We have a policy of not displaying any graphic pictures.”
Vandals vandalized the Southeast Portland Pregnancy Resource Center in Portland, Oregon, last Thursday. The culprits are still being sought by police.
“Our preliminary investigation shows that a group of suspects arrived at a pregnancy/medical clinic in the 5100 block of SE Powell Blvd Thursday morning at around 12:48 a.m.,” the Portland Police Bureau informed Fox News Digital. “They scribbled graffiti on the wall and smashed glass.” If anyone has any information regarding the suspects, please contact us.
“Because of the nature of the crime, it is a federal violation, and we are assisting local authorities and the FBI in any way we can,” the charity stated on its website. “The Supreme Court leak this week has definitely raised the temperature.” We anticipated this would be the case, and that Portland would be an especially explosive location to be at this critical juncture in our civilization.”
Pro-choice demonstrators demonstrated in front of the Trotter House in Austin, Texas, last Tuesday evening, a day after the leaked opinion draft made news, and supposedly tore down the organization’s flag.
Protesters chanted “my body, my choice” in videos and photographs released on Twitter, and a giant white banner with the words “Trotter House” hung on the front of the building.
Later, a Twitter account called “Stop The Sweeps ATX” shared photographs of the same crumpled banner in the middle of the street and placards on the front of the building that said, “I am not property,” among other pro-choice statements.
