Succession season 4 scripts “almost done”
Succession creator Jesse Armstrong has revealed that he has almost completed writing scripts for season four.
The third season of the critically acclaimed drama starring Brian Cox as foul-mouthed media mogul Logan Roy concluded on a cliffhanger when Logan agreed to sell his company against his children’s wishes.
“We’re almost done with the writing for season 4 here in London, with the American writers coming over,” Armstrong said to reporters at this year’s BAFTA TV Awards.
“They’re a really great group to talk to about character nuances, the world, and what we’re doing on the show.”
Armstrong also hinted that season four of the show might not be the last, adding: “I won’t answer [questions about the future] precisely. I don’t think it should go on forever. But we’re still having fun at the moment.”
Filming for the new season is set to begin later this year, with a 2023 premiere date.
