He added, “I knew I couldn’t go on without her from the minute I decided, took away her agony.

“They lost a son and a daughter, so please don’t make my family’s life more difficult.

He says earlier in the note: “To my family, I apologize. They however  shocked and grieving greatly because of this.”

According to investigators, Brian Laundrie visited his parents in North Port Florida as evidenced by a license plate reader.

Finally, on September 11, Petito’s mother Nichole Schmidt contacted the local police in her Long Island, New York, hometown to report her daughter missing.

Brian Laundrie escaped into the swamp on September 13 despite having covert cameras installed all around his home.

Later, his father voluntarily gave the FBI the family’s firearms and disclosed that one of them might be missing.
