Akron police on Sunday revealed a bodycam video showing cops fatally shooting 25-year-old Black Jayland Walker.
However, less than a minute into the pursuit, a shot was heard coming from the car. A transportation department camera captured what appeared to be a muzzle flash coming from the vehicle.
After the automobile slowed down a little while later. Walker got out while it was still going. He put on a ski mask and ran off on foot.
Walker was unarmed at the time of the shooting. But a shot that looked to come from the car during the chase led to the cops shooting because they believed Walker was about to fire, according to the authorities.
However, a still image appears to show him going down to his waist area.
Another appears to show him turning towards an officer. The third image captures a forward motion of his arm.
On the seat, police discovered a handgun, a loaded magazine, and a wedding band.

Each officer spoke about how they thought Mr. Walker had pivoted and was advancing into a firing position independently of the others, he said.
Police in Akron have urged the locals to remain calm and patient while the state investigation into the incident is ongoing.
Mylett claimed that until they have provided their statements, he is suspending judgment over their conduct. He also claimed that the union president has assured him that everyone is “completely participating” in the investigation.
