Two passengers are hurt when an experimental aircraft crashes
Early on Wednesday morning in Washington state, an experimental aircraft made a hard landing on a road; hurting two passengers as well as their dog, according to officials.
Around 10:20 p.m., the tiny aircraft had full engine failure while en route to Paine Field; an airfield in Snohomish County, according to Snohomish Regional Fire and Rescue.
According to emergency authorities, the plane hit high tension electrical wires as it descended; along 228th Street near Canyon Park in the Bothell city.
The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office said that the two passengers aboard; the aircraft suffered very minor wounds. The dog and the occupants were brought to a nearby hospital. Their terms were not immediately made clear in any further detail.
According to authorities, nobody on the ground got any injuries. While the Federal Aviation Administration goes to the scene and conducts an investigation; authorities said the area surrounding the crash scene would stay blocked.
