Sidra Niazi reveals she is a relative of former prime minister Imran
Sidra Niazi, a Pakistani actress, entered the entertainment industry a year ago and has since made major appearances in Qayamat and Chupke Chupke.
Alongside Imran Ashraf and Urwa Hocane, she recently played a supporting character in Badzaat.
In a recent interview, the 32-year-old actress discussed the rumors and implied that she is a relative of former prime minister Imran Khan.
The Dil Zaar Zaar explained that because she has the last name “Niazi,” people used to ask her the same question.
“I was born in Lahore and my father belongs to Niazi tribe, which is a close-knitted group wherein people know each other,” she said.
“Elders of my family know Imran Khan but people of my generation are not well informed about him,” the Zakham star said.
She said that when her grandmother was still alive, Imran Khan used to come by her house, and she added that the PTI leader had also spoken with her columnist uncle.
“I was very young then so I don’t remember much about it,” she concluded her response to the rumors.
