German Consul-General extends greeting on Christmas, New Year

• German Consul General wished of the holiday season
• He said Year 2022 has not been an easy year.
• He also wished Merry Christmas to those celebrating

KARACHI: Consul-General of Germany in Karachi Dr Rudiger Lotz extended greetings on the festive occasion of Christmas and the holiday season.

In a video message on the occasion, the German diplomat said Year 2022 has not been an easy year.

“At the beginning of the year, we were facing the corona pandemic. We have witnessed the terrible war of Russia against Ukraine,” he said.

He highlighted that Pakistan had to face the consequences of an unprecedented flood disaster. He hoped that the coming New Year 2023 will bring a change for the better.

“Let’s hope the upcoming Year 2023 will bring a turn for the better as the year comes to a close” he added.

He also wished everyone a happy festive season and Merry Christmas to all of those celebrating.
