In Mere Humdam, Gohar Mumtaz was last viewed four years ago. The drama Daag marks Goher Mumtaz’s comeback to small-screen entertainment. Along with Goher Mumtaz, Daag will also include Asad Siddiqui, Naveen Waqar, and Hassan Niazi.

In the next HUM TV drama serial, the Jal singer will be featured in the role of an investigative journalist.  Sources claims that the host of the well-known crime show Iqrar ul Hassan is the inspiration for the character of Gohar Mumtaz.
