PSL 2023: On Friday, January 20, it is anticipated that the Pakistan Super League (PSL) schedule for its eighth season will be released.
The facts state that the PSL schedule has been decided upon for the forthcoming season. Tomorrow, the PSL franchisees will participate in a final conference with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
The event’s official opening ceremony will take place in Multan, under the existing timetable, sources claim. Four locations, including Karachi, Multan, Lahore, and Rawalpindi, will host the competition.
The PSL will begin on February 13 and conclude on March 19.
Earlier, Najam Sethi, the chairman of the PCB management committee, said that the PSL season eight matches will be held in Quetta.
“I am thrilled to announce today that, seven years after starting the Pakistan Super League, we have committed to making Bugti Stadium in Quetta the fifth destination for our flagship event. Quetta Gladiators play their home games at Bugti Stadium, and we remember the fantastic scenes when the Gladiators visited the city after winning the 2019 tournament “Sethi made the remarks in a statement issued by the national cricket regulatory body on December 23.
Meanwhile, the PCB has agreed to hold an exhibition match between the Quetta Gladiators and the Peshawar Zalmi on February 5 in Quetta.
It should be noted that while player retentions were revealed on November 11, the draught was held on December 15.
