Many OTT platforms in Pakistan offer bold material presently. The recent Pakistani short film Bheetar seems to be the first to freely tell the love tale of girls.

The teaser for the upcoming short film Bheetar has gained notice for its provocative narrative, which shows a female branding another girl’s forehead with Sindoor. The upcoming short film was written and directed by Mazhar Moin. Cast: Juvaria Abbasi, Manal Siddiqui, Zohaib Bux, Usman Chaudhry. The LGBTQ short film is given by Meem Kahani. The film is called [Bheetar] – A Love Story. Bheetar’s teaser is really bold.

Well, the show’s main heroine, Bheetar, is a Hindu woman who is rebellious in love and loves another man. In the teaser, the girls’ love track is shown. The director has given teasers and talked about love beyond cultural understanding. Mazhar Moin’s post has two about it.
