Sources claim 20 important religious scholars on target in Karachi

• Law enforcement agencies have started joint investigation
• Purpose is to fuel communalism
• Attackers being backed by political leaders

In light of the recent killing of religious scholars, 20 prominent personalities in Karachi have been declared to be on the hit list of attackers.

According to the sources, the sleeper cells have become active within the country.

The initial investigation revealed that the enemies of famous religious scholars in Pakistan hailed from neighboring country.

It added that the reason behind their killing is to give rise to sectarianism.

Following which, the law enforcement agencies have geared up against the attackers and have launched joint investigation into the matter.

During the past eight months, five religious scholars have lost their lives in target killing incidents in Karachi.

Recently two scholars of different school of thoughts were shot dead in Karachi, in the past 48 hours.
