Waseem Badami gets emotional during live Ramadan transmission

• Waseem Badami and Junaid Jamshed co-hosted the Ramadan transmission Shaan E Ramazan.
• Junaid Jamshed perished in a plane disaster in December 2016.
• Badami became emotional as he began the transmission.

Waseem Badami is a well-known Pakistani host who first gained notoriety for his political chat show 11th Hour, but he gained much more notoriety after he and Junaid Jamshed launched the Ramadan transmission Shaan E Ramazan.

Waseem Badami was asked to co-host with Junaid Jamshed for the Ramadan transmission by Jamshed. Fans began to adore Shaan E Ramazan as a result of their hosting team’s success.

Along with many other passengers, Junaid Jamshed perished in a plane disaster in December 2016.

Then, like he does each year, Waseem Badami leads the Shaan E Ramadan transmission; but, this year, he became quite emotional as he began the transmission.

The first show of the Shaan E Ramazan live transmission 2023 began today with Waseem Badami.

“How can you people forget that each area of this set reminds us of Junaid Jamshed, especially at the start of every Ramadan, I remember that excitement I shared doing program with him? We have an emotional connection with this set,” he remarked.

We used to have conversations and laugh together, and we used to start talking about transmission issues even before the month of Ramadan.

Naturally, I’m feeling extremely depressed as I start this since I feel like things would be completely different if he were here, but I have faith that he’s in a wonderful place because we all clearly remember that time.

I would like to ask everyone to remember Amjad Sabri in their prayers and to pray for Junaid Jamshed during Shaan E Ramadan.”
