CTD Punjab arrests five terrorists including TTP commander

• LEA arrested commander of outlawed TTP in major operation.
• CTD also arrested four terrorists in Pindi, Bahawalpur and Sahiwal.
• CTD recovered explosive materials and weapons from their possession.

LAHORE: The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Punjab has arrested the commander of banned Tehrik-e Taliban Pakistan (TTP) from Pakpattan.

According to a CTD spokesperson, the law enforcement agencies arrested the commander of the outlawed TTP from Pakpattan in a major operation.

CTD spokesman said that apart from Pakpattan, CTD arrested four alleged terrorists while conducting operations in Rawalpindi, Bahawalpur, and Sahiwal.

CTD officials said that explosive materials, five detonators, two hand grenades, and weapons were also recovered from the possession of the alleged terrorists.
