ECP fully prepared to hold transparent elections, says CEC

• The printing and delivery of final election lists completed.
• DROs, ROs and Assistant Officers will be notified very soon.
• ECP appealed people to cooperate to ensure conduct of peaceful polls.

ISLAMABAD: Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Sikandar Sultan Raja said that ECP is well aware of all our constitutional and legal obligations and also fully prepared to conduct transparent elections.

Chief Election Commissioner Sikander Sultan Raja said in his message said that the Election Commission of Pakistan is busy preparing for the general elections. The printing and delivery of the final election lists have been completed while District Returning Officers, Returning Officers, and Assistant Officers will be notified very soon.

Sikandar Sultan Raja said that the election schedule will be given in a few days and polling will be held on February 8, 2024. He assured people that ECP would provide complete security during the election.

He said that the people should use their right to vote for the bright future of the country and the nation. He appealed to the people to cooperate with the ECP and ensure the conduct of peaceful elections.
