PTI leader Sher Afzal to contest election from Peshawar
PESHAWAR: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Senior Vice President Sher Afzal Marwat has decided to contest the election from Peshawar.
Sher Afzal Marwat said, “I will contest the election from National Assembly Constituency NA-32 from Peshawar, his lawyer has submitted the nomination papers”.
The PTI leader claimed that the party will win the general elections in February 2024.
It should be remembered that the general elections are going to be held in the country on February 8, 2024, while the Election Commission of Pakistan had withdrawn the bat symbol from PTI declaring the intra-party election null and void for not holding the election as per the constitution.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has announced to approach the court against the Election Commission’s decision.
Earlier, Founder of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan has submitted his nomination papers in his home constituency of Mianwali.
Umar Bodla, a leader of PTI, represented the former prime minister during the submission of nomination papers for the National Assembly’s NA-89 constituency.
