Karachi receives spell of light to moderate rain on Tuesday night

KARACHI: Karachi on Tuesday night received a spell of light to moderate rain, turning the weather cold.

Rainfall was widespread across various parts of Karachi, impacting neighborhoods like Nazimabad, North Nazimabad, FB Area, North Karachi, Manghopir, Site Area, Korangi and other areas.

The precipitation also reached locations such as Saddar, Khara Dar, Orangi Town, Qasba Colony, Banaras, M.A. Jinnah Road, Surjani Town, Maripur, Neelam Colony, and Baldia Town.

In addition, areas including Hasan Square, Ghareebabad, Liaquatabad, Karimabad, Gulistan-e-Jauhar, and Gulshan-e-Iqbal also witnessed substantial rainfall.

It’s noteworthy that the meteorological department had earlier forecasted heavy to moderate rain in Karachi for the month of February.
