Daniyal Aziz arrested from Shakargarh

Narowal: Independent candidate and former federal minister Daniyal Aziz was arrested from National Assembly Constituency NA-75.

Daniyal Aziz’s wife Mahnaz Akbar Aziz said that a heavy contingent of police arrested Daniyal Aziz from Shakargh.

Daniyal Aziz’s wife accused and said that the worst torture was done on Daniyal Aziz and he was forced into the car, Ahsan Iqbal had a hand in his arrest.

Earlier, Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has issued a notice to Daniyal Aziz Choudhry, an independent candidate from National Assembly Constituency NA-75 Narowal, for violating the code of conduct.

The Election Commission fixed the hearing of the case on February 10. In case of success in the election, the notification of Daniyal Aziz will be subject to the decision of the Election Commission.

According to the District Monitoring Officer (DMO) report, Daniyal Aziz is repeatedly violating the code of conduct, he responds to notices and does not appear.
