
General Election: Mohsin Dawar injured in firing incident
PESHAWAR: Former Member of National Assembly Mohsin Dawar was injured in firing in Miranshah area of North Waziristan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The police have confirmed that Mohsin Dawar was injured and it has been reported that supporters of Mohsin Dawar were protesting in Miran Shah.
The locals were protesting due to the delay in the election results in North Waziristan and suddenly police opened fire and shelled tear gas.
Sources say that the condition of Mohsin Dawar is out of danger, while Mohsin Dawar has been shifted to Miranshah Hospital, some of Mohsin Dawar’s companions are also injured in the firing, all the injured have been shifted to Miranshah Hospital.

Earlier in January 2024, extremists attacked the vehicle of former member of the National Assembly of Pakistan, Mohsin Dawar in Miran Shah North Waziristan Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
District Police Officer (DPO) North Waziristan Rohan Zaib while talking media confirmed the firing on Mohsin Dawar’s car and said that Mohsin Dawar had police security with him, the police personnel’s fired back at the militants who opened fire, from which the assailant escaped.
According to the police, multiple bullets hit the vehicle, however, Mohsin Dawar remained safe due to the bullet proof car.
