The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has issued a weather forecast indicating mainly dry conditions in Peshawar and most parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for the upcoming days. However, some upper districts may experience rain, wind, and thunderstorms.
According to the PMD, continental air is prevailing over most areas of Pakistan. A shallow westerly wave is expected to enter the upper regions of the country by tomorrow evening or night.
As a result of these weather patterns, Peshawar and other areas in the province can expect dry weather on Monday night, Tuesday, and Wednesday. However, the upper districts, including Chitral, Dir, Swat, Kohistan, Abbottabad, Manshera, Kurrum, Khyber, Shangla, and Buner, may experience rain accompanied by wind or thunderstorms during this period.
Temperatures in Peshawar are forecast to range between 26 and 30 degrees Celsius on Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively.
In the past 24 hours, dry weather has prevailed in Peshawar and most districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Dera Ismail Khan recorded the highest temperature at 32°C, while Peshawar reached a maximum of 31°C with a relative humidity of 28 percent in the evening.
