Speaker NA directs ministers to ensure their presence in house

ISLAMABAD: Speaker of the National Assembly, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said that all ministries have been instructed to ensure their officials’ presence in the house.

He said that all ministries must send their additional secretaries to attend the session, clarifying that individuals below this designation will not be permitted to sit in the house.

He said it had been decided to commence the house proceedings on time and directed all members to ensure their presence during the session.

Earlier, Members of National Assembly held a meeting with Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq in Islamabad today and discussed the formation of standing committees.

Those who met the Speaker included Syed Naveed Qamar, Shazia Marri, Malik Aamir Dogar, Mujahid Khan, Aijaz  Jakhrani, Khalid Hussain Magsi, Gul Asfar Khan,  Noor Alam Khan, Zain Hussain Qureshi, Aminul Haq, Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, Hafeez Uddin and Moin Aamir.
