The annual matriculation examinations for Secondary School Certificate Part-II (SSC-II) in Punjab concluded in April 2024, leaving students eagerly awaiting their results.
The Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) in Punjab administered written exams for class 10 until March 18, with practical exams for the science group concluding in mid-May.
Punjab is home to nine BISEs, each responsible for conducting both annual and supplementary exams within their respective regions. These boards include BISE Bahawalpur, BISE Lahore, BISE Gujranwala, BISE Rawalpindi, BISE Sahiwal, BISE Multan, BISE Sargodha, BISE Dera Ghazi Khan, and BISE Faisalabad. Each board plays a vital role in evaluating student performance through standardized assessments. For instance, BISE Lahore caters to the districts of Lahore, Kasur, Sheikhupura, and Nankana Sahib.
Traditionally, matriculation results have been announced in July. However, the exact date for the 2024 results will be confirmed by the educational boards in the coming weeks.
