Court grants bail to Fawad Chaudry in road blocking case
LAHORE: The Sessions Court of Lahore granted bail to former federal minister Fawad Chaudhry in the road blocking case.
Lahore Sessions Court Judge Abdul Ghaffar heard the bail application of former federal minister Fawad Chaudhry.
The court said that the traffic in Lahore can be jammed for any other reason, there is often a traffic jam in Lahore and Fawad Chaudhry is not accused of causing a traffic jam.
Later, the court granted interim bail to Fawad Chaudhry on a surety of Rs 50,000 and issued a 2-page written order.
The court said that it has confirmed the interim bail of the co-accused Shah Mehmood Qureshi in this case.
A case has been registered against Fawad Chaudhry for blocking the road and holding a press conference and making a provocative speech.
Earlier, Former Federal Minister and leader of Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) Fawad Chaudhry was released from Adiala Jail after the Islamabad High Court (IHC) approved his bail.
Fawad Chaudhry was granted bail 2 days ago, after which he has now been released.
Fawad Chaudhry reached home after his release from Adiala Jail, upon reaching home his daughters were happy and welcomed their father.
