Government Reverses Solar Panel Tax Decision to Boost Renewable Energy

In a notable policy change, the federal cabinet has opted against imposing new duties on solar panels, ensuring renewable energy remains affordable for the public. This decision was made during a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday.

PIA Privatization: The privatization process of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) is moving swiftly, with the first bidding round scheduled for early August. The Prime Minister emphasized the need for transparency throughout the process.

Economic Development Plans: The government plans to stimulate the economy by supporting small and medium-scale industries and boosting domestic exports. Efforts also being made to eliminate elite privileges and ensure economic security and equal development opportunities for all citizens.
