Lahore and nearby plains are forecast to experience very hot weather, with windy conditions likely in southern districts. Murree, Galiyat, Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, and Jhelum may see thunderstorms with isolated rain in the evening or night.

D.G. Khan, Taunsa, Layyah, Bahawalpur, and Rajanpur may also experience windstorms or thunderstorms during this time.

Additionally, a windstorm or thunderstorm with isolated rain is forecasted in various regions during the afternoon, including Murree, Galiyat, Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Gujarat, Mianwali, Bhakkar, Jhang, Khushab, Sargodha, Sahiwal, Okara, Kasur, Lahore, Hafizabad, Mandi Bahauddin, Sialkot, Narowal, and Gujranwala. Windstorms or thunderstorms may also occur in D.G. Khan, Bahawalpur, Taunsa, Layyah, and Rajanpur.

Hot and dry weather prevailed across most parts of the country, with southern and central areas experiencing very high temperatures. However, Dir recorded 1 mm of rain.

Yesterday’s highest maximum temperatures were recorded in various cities:

• Jacobabad, Sibbi, Bhakkar, Noorpur Thal, and D.G. Khan reached 48 °C.
• Sargodha, Okara, Kasur, and Kot Addu recorded 47°C.
• Bannu, Gujranwala, Sheikhupura, Mandi Bahauddin, Faisalabad, Jhang, Bahawalpur, Khanewal, Bahawalnagar, Rahimyar Khan, Khanpur, Rohri, Mohenjo Daro, and Khairpur reached 46°C.
