PM Shehbaz meets Int’l Consultancy Firm delegation
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif instructed the relevant authorities to hold consultation with the globally reputed consultancy firms to realize the investment agreements with the friendly countries.
The prime minister, in a meeting with a delegation of an international consultancy firm headed by former State Bank Governor Raza Baqir, also directed for consultation with the reputed firms for reduction in the volume of government’s infrastructure and to enhance effectiveness of the governance system.
He told the delegation that there existed a huge potential for investment in minerals and energy sectors.
Appreciating the key role of the private sector in national economic development, the prime minister assured of all-out facilitation by the government for economic revival.
Earlier, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif directed the authorities concerned to build a health tower of international standard in the federal capital to house hospitals, medical and nursing universities, modern laboratories, and diagnostics centers.
The prime minister, chairing a meeting to review the matters related to the Ministry of National Health Services, instructed to formulate a strategy to build the said tower through the public-private partnership.
