Senate meeting session, 5th Sept

The meeting session of the Senate was scheduled to start at 10:30 am today.

Earlier, the Senate Secretariat had issued a 35-point agenda for today’s session.

The agenda includes the Peaceful Assembly and Public Order Bill, 2024, and the Establishment of Telecommunication Appellate Tribunal Bill, 2024.

The Privatization Commission (Amendment) Bill, 2024 is also part of the agenda.

Additionally, the agenda includes notices regarding the illegal custody of Pakistanis in Burma and the spread of monkeypox.

Also, the Finance Minister will present 2-year audit reports during today’s session as laid out in the agenda.
