KARACHI: The Sindh Government has introduced a new grading policy at matric and inter exams in the province.

Thus, Sindh became the first province in the country to approve the grading policy.

According to the notification issued by Secretary Universities and Boards Abbas Baloch, the new grading policy will be implemented in Sindh from 2025, under which students will get grades instead of marks and positions.

Under new grading policy formula, the first, second and third positions will be abolished.

According to the new grading policy formula set by Inter Board Coordination Commission (IBCCC) -, 95 or more marks will be given A exceptional grade, 90 marks will be given excellent A, 85 marks will be given excellent A.
