CTD arrests 11 terrorists in 166 IBOs in Punjab
LAHORE: The Counter -Terrorism Department (CTD) arrested 11 terrorists in 166 intelligence -based operations (IBOs) in different cities of Punjab.
The CTD spokesman said intelligence -based operations were carried out in Sargodha, Rawalpindi, Pakpattan, Gujarat, Chakwal, Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar and Faisalabad during which 11 terrorists were arrested.
A CTD spokesman said that a dangerous Tehrik-e Taliban Pakistan (TTP) terrorist was arrested in Mianwali, including explosives, while explosives, detonators, pamphlets, cash and private cards were recovered from the arrested suspects.
According to the spokesman of the CTD, the accused was identified as Haider Sultan, Wali Rehman, Zubair, Amin, Akbar, Maqsood Khan, Amir, Zafar Iqbal, Ibrahim Qasimi, Mohibullah and Saddam Hussein.
Earlier, Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has killed three terrorists in Bannu and Charsadda.
According to the Central Police Office Peshawar, the CTD took action in Bannu and Charsadda during which three terrorists were killed.
According to police, two terrorists were killed during an operation in Bannu, the dead terrorists were involved in the attack on police constable Arman Khan.
