Gujranwala: Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Thursday arrested the main accused involved in the Libyan boat tragedy.

According to the FIA ​​spokesman, the accused Usman Khan was arrested from Gujarat and the arrested accused name was included in the Red Book of the Interior Ministry.

FIA officials said that the accused had received Rs 2.4 million from a citizen to send him to Europe and the accused had previously wanted the FIA ​​in dozens of cases.

The spokesman said the arrested accused has been shifted to the police station where further investigation is underway with the accused.

It is to be noted that Libya’s February 5 boat carrying illegal migrants met an accident, resultantly 16 Pakistan lost their lives.
