Mahira Khan reveals her son Azlan encouraged her to remarry

KARACHI: Pakistani actress Mahira Khan has opened up about her second marriage, revealing that she had several fears and reservations before making the decision but it was her son, Azlan, who convinced her to go ahead with it.

In a recent appearance on podcast, Mahira discussed a range of topics, including her upcoming film “Love Guru”, as well as her personal journey, career, and emotional struggles.

Speaking candidly, Mahira shared how her son’s support played a pivotal role in helping her embrace a new chapter in life with confidence.

During the interview, while speaking about fellow actor Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan shared, “We are good friends, and one quality I really admire about Fawad is that he is completely himself around me — just the way he truly is.”

She also addressed her past controversy with writer Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar, acknowledging her own part in the conflict. “I admit, I was at fault too. I should have reached out to him directly instead of posting a tweet on social media. I was extremely angry at the time, and that’s why I tweeted — which eventually led to a public dispute.”
