NCCIA arrests female officer over spreading anti-sate content

ISLAMABAD: National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) arrested a female government officer for spreading false narratives and circulating offensive messages against state institutions.

The officer is accused of circulating anti-state content during heightened tensions between Pakistan and India. A case has been registered against her under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA).

The case mentions that the woman was inciting people against national institutions.

In the registered case the woman was arrested in Lahore and evidence was found on her phone.
