KARACHI: The Sindh Home Department on Thursday issued official code of conduct for the collection of sacrificial animal hides during Eid-ul-Azha.

It will be mandatory to obtain a permit from the Commissioner or Deputy Commissioner for collecting hides.

The notification states that NECTA-issued SOPs must be strictly followed while granting such permissions.

Commissioners and Deputy Commissioners have been directed to ensure that only registered organizations or parties are allowed to collect hides.

The setting up camps or displaying banners for hide collection will be strictly prohibited. The using vehicles with party flags or making announcements via loudspeakers for the purpose of collecting hides is also not allowed.
