KARACHI: The Karachi city is expected to experience intense heat and humidity today as sea breezes remain suspended.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), minimum temperature was recorded at 29°C, while the humidity level in the air stood at 72 percent.
Daytime temperatures are likely to range between 35°C and 37°C. Due to the high humidity, the heat will feel more intense than the actual temperature. Authorities have advised citizens to stay hydrated and avoid unnecessary outdoor exposure during peak hours.
From tomorrow, Monsoon winds are expected to begin impacting the city, bringing the possibility of rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning.
According to the Meteorological Department, the rain spell may continue for two to three days.
