
Karachi: Residents of Karachi are set to experience another day of intensely hot and humid weather today. However, a change in conditions might offer relief, as the city’s outskirts are forecast to receive heavy rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning starting tomorrow.
According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature recorded in Karachi today was 35°C. The humidity in the air stood at 59 percent, which makes the real-feel temperature a scorching 41 degrees Celsius.
The Met Department further forecasts that the maximum temperature in the metropolis today is likely to hover between 38°C and 39°C. Winds are currently blowing from the southwest at a speed of 15 kilometers per hour.
Looking ahead, the city is expected to receive pre-monsoon rains starting tomorrow, with this spell of precipitation potentially continuing for the next two days.
