4 dead, 4 injured in tragic accident on Hawksbay road

KARACHI: A tragic traffic accident occurred on Hawksbay Road, resulting in the deaths of four people and injuries to four others.

According to police officials, the incident took place when an overspeeding car lost control and crashed into the wall of a drainage canal while taking a turn. The impact completely destroyed the vehicle.

Among the deceased are a woman and a child. The bodies and injured were shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi for medical treatment and postmortem examination.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident and have urged drivers to exercise caution on sharp turns and maintain speed limits.

Earlier , speeding car collided with a motorcycle on Shahrae Faisal near Karsaz .That crash resulted in injuries to both the motorcyclist and occupants of the car. The motorcyclist was taken to Jinnah Hospital for treatment.

Police confirmed that the car’s front end was severely damaged due to excessive speed and the driver was taken into custody.

Authorities are urging drivers to exercise extreme caution and adhere to speed limits to prevent further tragedies on the city’s roads.
