Lahore: Pakistan’s express pace bowler Haris Rauf, has fully recovered from a hamstring injury and has resumed regular bowling, signaling a significant step towards his return to international cricket.

Sources close to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) indicate that Haris Rauf is currently in the final stages of his fitness rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Lahore, working under the close supervision of coaches and physiotherapy staff.

It has been confirmed that Rauf has begun bowling with a full run-up and at full pace after a ten-day rest period, which is a clear sign of significant improvement in his fitness.

Haris Rauf sustained this injury during the recent Major League Cricket (MLC) tournament in the United States, forcing him to miss the remainder of the tournament and the subsequent home series against Bangladesh. His absence was keenly felt, as it visibly weakened the national team’s bowling attack.

Rauf’s impending return is undoubtedly welcome news for the Pakistani team, particularly with the proposed series against West Indies in July on the horizon. Cricket experts believe that if his recovery process continues at the current pace, he could soon be fully fit and rejoin the national squad.
