Karachi may receive light showers amid widespread rainfall across Sindh

KARACHI: Karachi could see light rain today, with scattered showers predicted for numerous cities across Sindh.

This includes areas such as Sukkur, Nawabshah, Hyderabad, Tharparkar, Umerkot, Sanghar, Jamshoro, Mithi, Badin, Thatta, Tando Allahyar, and Mirpurkhas. Residents in Larkana, Ghotki, Khairpur, Shikarpur, Jacobabad, and Dadu should prepare for warnings of heavy rainfall.

In Islamabad Much of Pakistan is bracing for another hot and humid day, with the meteorological department forecasting partly cloudy conditions for the capital.

Rain with thundershowers is anticipated in various parts of the country. Southeast lower Sindh and northeast, south Balochistan are expected to see scattered rainfall. Meanwhile, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Potohar region, and Kashmir are also likely to experience rain accompanied by thundershowers at a few places.
