The event took place at the end of Giuseppe Verdi’s opera Il Trovatore. A video circulating online shows a cast member opening the Palestinian flag on stage. A staff member is seen approaching from backstage, attempting to snatch the flag, but the actor held on firmly, preventing it from being taken.
