Imran Abbas breaks silence on Babrik Shah’s harsh comments

Lahore: Pakistani actor Imran Abbas, known for his popularity on television and a massive following of nearly nine million on Instagram, has responded calmly to recent criticism made by fellow actor Babrik Shah.

Babrik Shah, during his appearance on a lifestyle show, passed several negative remarks about Abbas, going as far as claiming that he was “not film material” and “didn’t even look like a man.” The comments quickly caught public attention on social media.

In response, Imran Abbas chose not to escalate the situation and instead offered a composed perspective. Speaking in an interview, he said that negative comments do not bother him and are simply part of the journey that comes with success.

“I don’t care about the hate people give me because Allah has been blessing me with all the success more than I deserve,” Abbas said. “This hate comes in a package.”

“Always look at the person writing hate online he’ll usually have no real achievements or identity,” Abbas noted. “It’s often their frustration that reflects in the form of criticism. In the professional world too, those who try to pull others down are the ones left behind.”

Despite the harsh nature of the comments, Abbas made it clear that he does not believe in retaliation. Instead, he emphasized the importance of patience and compassion.

“May Allah give them guidance. We can only pray for their betterment,” he said, closing the conversation with a message of dignity.
