ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast more rains across the country, including Sindh, from August 27 to 30.
According to the department, Karachi is likely to receive rainfall between August 23 and 25, while showers are also expected in Sukkur, Larkana, Shaheed Benazirabad, Dadu, Jacobabad, and Jamshoro during the same period.
Rainfall is further predicted in parts of Bhakkar, Layyah, Muzaffargarh, Dera Ghazi Khan, Rajanpur, and Rahim Yar Khan between August 23 and 25.
The current weather system will move away from the city after light rain today.
Meanwhile, drainage has cleared rainwater from most roads, though water remains accumulated along some roadside areas.
Rainwater has yet to be cleared from Saddar Paper Market, while accumulation persists at several points along University Road. Waterlogging is also reported on the road from Teen Hatti to Guru Mandir, causing inconvenience to commuters.
