Lahore: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to make a documentary to celebrate the first ten years of the Pakistan Super League (PSL). The film will show the league’s journey from 2016 to 2025, focusing on its challenges, successes, and important moments.
According to reports, the documentary will shine a light on the many problems the PSL faced. These include the league’s move from Dubai to Pakistan and the hard work of bringing foreign players to the country.
It will also talk about how the league dealt with the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, which helped it become well-known worldwide.
In less than ten years, the PSL has grown from a new tournament into a major sporting event. People often praise it for bringing international cricket back to Pakistan and giving a chance to new local players. The league is seen as a key reason for improving Pakistan’s image in the world of sports.
The documentary will feature all the teams that have won the title over the years, showing their journey to the top.
Here is a list of the PSL champions since the league began:
2016: Islamabad United
