Although no specific medical details were mentioned, comments from close family members hinted at a possible flare-up of Lyme disease a condition Hadid has been battling for years.

Her mother, Yolanda Hadid,, referred to her as a “Lyme warrior” in the comments, while her sister Gigi Hadid  added, “I love you! I hope you feel as strong and good as you deserve, soon!!!!!!” Actress Nikki Reed also offered kind words, writing, “Sending you love, light and positive thoughts for healing.”

Hadid was  diagnosed with Lyme disease in 2012, along with her mother and brother, Anwar. Over the years, she has spoken openly about the challenges of living with a chronic illness, often highlighting how its invisible nature can lead to misunderstanding and judgment.

In a past update, she shared: “The hardest part of this journey is to be judged by the way you look instead of the way you feel. Life isn’t always what it looks like on the outside.” In 2023, she revealed she was feeling “finally healthy” after undergoing over 100 days of treatment for Lyme and related complications.
