
Five militants
QUETTA: At least five terrorists were killed in a suicide car bombing carried out by the Indian-backed proxy group Fitna Al-Hindustan in Quetta, security officials confirmed. The suicide attacker was also killed in the blast.
According to security sources, the attackers, dressed in Frontier Corps (FC) uniforms, attempted to target security personnel. Two FC soldiers were injured in the attack, while all the terrorists involved were eliminated in the ensuing operation.
Authorities said that Pakistan’s security forces remain fully committed to thwarting the malicious designs of elements working on India’s agenda and will continue to foil such acts of terrorism.
According to the police officials, at least five people were killed and 15 others injured in an explosion near Pishin Stop on Hali Road in Quetta.
Rescue teams and law enforcement agencies reached the scene shortly after the blast and began shifting the injured to nearby hospitals for treatment.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has lauded the security forces for successfully neutralizing terrorists of the Fitna Al-Hindustan group involved in the recent attack in Quetta.
The Prime Minister also prayed for the swift recovery of the security personnel and civilians injured in the incident.
“Those who seek to harm innocent and unarmed citizens will see their evil designs crushed,” the Prime Minister said, vowing that elements attempting to undermine Pakistan’s sovereignty will face exemplary punishment.
He reaffirmed that the government, security forces, and the entire nation remain united and determined to eradicate terrorism and eliminate Fitna Al-Hindustan from the country once and for all.
