
According to sources, Pakistani cricketers Haris Rauf and Sahibzada Farhan appeared in ICC after a complaint was filed regarding their celebration style.
The case was heard by ICC Match Referee Richie Richardson, sources said. Team manager Nadeem Akram Cheema was also present to assist the players during the proceedings.
The BCCI has filed an official complaint against Pakistani cricketers Haris Rauf and Sahibzada Farhan with the ICC for their on-field gestures during the Asia Cup Super Fours game in Dubai last Sunday
The match referee reportedly sought clarification from both players regarding the nature of their celebration.
Farhan’s celebration after getting to his half-century and Rauf gesturing towards a section of fans while fielding at the boundary – the incidents the BCCI has complained about – have been all over social media since that day.
