Met office warns of persistent heat and possible light rain

Karachi: According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department karachi weather (PMD) the city is likely to remain hot and humid over the next 24 hours. The sky is currently clear with strong sunshine.

The Met Office stated that the maximum temperature in the city is expected to reach 33°C today. Humidity is currently at 83%, and winds are blowing from the southwest at a speed of 8 kilometers per hour.

Regarding the monsoon, the department noted that the season will continue until September 30. Due to low-lying clouds, there is a chance of light rain or drizzle today.
